Clinic Privacy Policy

In-Balance Counselling & Consultants Pty Ltd ABN 320089003967 (“us”, “we”, “our”) trading under the names of Sagire, Sagire Clinic, Tasmanian Chinese Medicine recognises the importance of your privacy and respects your right to control how you personal information is collected and used.

 

This privacy policy is aligned with the Australian Privacy Principles as set out in the Privacy Act 1988 and describes the way we may collect, hold and disclose personal information. This policy applies to any of our websites for acupuncture and herbal medicine. Our online store has a seperate policy as per its website.

 

In this policy personal information refers to any information which may identify you or by which your identity might be reasonably determined. 

 

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

 

We collect information from you when you register on our site, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey or fill out a form (including booking forms). When registering on our site, as appropriate you may be asked to enter your name, email, phone number, address and other contact information.

 

You may visit our site anonymously however this will impact on the features you are able to use.

 

We will never send emails requesting credit card details or other personal information.

 

Sensitive information refers information about an individual’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious belief or affiliation, work, sexual orientation, your payment and billing information and will be collected only where necessary to offer you a service. We may collect details of conversations we have had with you or any other information relevant to us.

 

We may collect sensitive information about you including medical reports, referrals, medication, health history and other important health information where you consent and such information is reasonably necessary to provide our services to you.

 

We automatically collect through our site and services information that is often not personally identifiable, such as the website from which visitors cameo our site, IP address, browser type and other information relating to the device through which they access the site.

We especially cannot guarantee the security of any information you send via the internet either via a website or email and such transmission is at your own risk.

 

We have certain legal and regulatory reasons for keeping your information for set time periods. If we are no longer required to use the information, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

We may provide your information to other medical service providers such as your doctor or specialist or to insurance providers and the like where your condition is covered by such organisations.

Where you require copies of your records please allow 10 business days for processing. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable processing fee depending on your request at our discretion.

Should we become aware of a data breach impacting your information we will notify you as soon as reasonably practicable in accordance with the relevant Act.

This Privacy Policy describes how https://www.sagire.com.au (the “Site” or “we” collects, uses, and discloses your Personal Information when you visit or make a purchase from the Site.  This policy refers to the retail operations and associated aspects of In-Balance Counselling & Consultants Pty Ltd trading as Sagire/Sagire Shop. Please see above for Privacy Policies for our clinical and coaching/education operations. 

When you purchase something from our website or fill in any forms, we collect the personal information you give us such as email address, name, address and other information you supply. This allows us to provide products and services to you to fulfil our contract, to process transactions, arrange for shipping, provide invoices, confirmations, communications about your transaction, and screen our orders for potential risk or fraud. This information is shared as required to maintain the website, organise shipping, payments and other aspects of your transaction.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with general information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. Examples of information collected include version of web browser, time zone, cookie information, what sites or products you view, search terms, and how you interact with the site. This information is used to load the site accurately for you and your device, perform analytics and for site optimisation. The information is collected automatically when you access the site using cookies, log files, web beacons, tags or pixels. The information is shared with Wix who operate our site.

We also use email marketing from time to time with your permission. You may unsubscribe from these marketing emails via the link at the bottom of the email. 

We only store information needed to conduct business with you. We may use this information to contact you about your order, for example failed credit card transactions, incomplete order information or stock availability.

Our website(s) are hosted on Wix. They provide us with the e-commerce platform that allows us  to sell our products and services. We use Wix’s data storage, databases and their general application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

SHIPPING POLICY

Shipping Policy
  • We ship within Australia only.

  • We charge a flat shipping rate of $12.95 on all regular orders. Additional charges may apply for large or bulky orders or where customers request express shipping.

  • We use Sendle  as our primary shipping partner but may also use Australia Post or other courier services where we deem them more suitable. 

  • We aim to ship within 2-3 business days of receiving your order and payment. If delivery timeframe is important for your order please contact us to see if we can express deliver or make other arrangements.

  • Express shipping will incur an additional fee. You should be aware that our location in regional Tasmania may mean that even express shipping may take 2-3 business days from dispatch. 

  • COVID-19 is impacting all delivery services. Please refer to the relevant delivery service for expected time frames (our postcode is 7315). Each delivery service will have its own policies around safe delivery practices, contactless delivery, signature requirements. Please check with them directly for their latest updates.

  • Mainland Australians should be aware that we are in Tasmania (7315) and this can add time to deliveries. Even with Express services this may mean an extra day or two - refer to the delivery service.

  • All stock on our website should be in stock unless otherwise indicated. However occasionally items may go missing or be damaged when we go to pack your order. If this occurs we will contact you asap to let you know and organise to order more stock/ offer alternatives or refund the purchase price.

  • We cannot be held responsible for loss, delay or damage by our delivery services. Once items have been shipped, they become the property and responsibility of the purchaser. We check each item and take extra care with our packing so if an order arrives damaged or is misplaced, it is the purchaser’s responsibility to liaise with the delivery service concerned. No refunds or replacements will be given for products missing or damaged in transit. We will however provide you with all the necessary information to make your claim. Please advise us immediately of any damage in transit together with photographic evidence. 

  • Once shipped a tracking number will be issued to the email address you provided. This will allow you to track the progress of your order. Please check your details carefully when submitting your order as once it is received and dispatched we are unable to alter them. 

  • Please make sure your delivery address is correct. In the event that a parcel is returned to us due to incorrect or incomplete delivery address being provided, you will be charged a return fee of $10 (which is what we are charged for returns) along with the regular shipping fee to resend your items.

  • If items delivered by a third party delivery service are delivered to a collection agency because you were not home, we are not responsible for redirecting, refunding or replacing these items. You will need to organise your own collection from the agency.

  • Please note that payment must be received prior to dispatch of any order.

Returns Policy
  • We aim to provide quality items that are checked and carefully packaged prior to shipping. We cannot give refunds or credits except in the case of defective or incorrectly described items or incorrect shipment.

  • As per our shipping policy - We cannot be held responsible for loss, delay or damage by our delivery services. Once items have been shipped, they become the property and responsibility of the purchaser. We check each item and take extra care with our packing so if an order arrives damaged or is misplaced, it is the purchaser’s responsibility to liaise with the delivery service concerned. No refunds or replacements will be given for products missing or damaged in transit. We will however provide you with all the necessary information to make your claim. Please advise us immediately of any damage in transit together with photographic evidence. 

  • We will arrange replacement, exchange or refund for any items that are supplied in a faulty condition, incorrectly described or incorrectly supplied. Please contact us via the email link on our website detailing any issues as soon as possible. We may require proof of purchase. We reserve the right to refuse a return on any product that does not deem itself faulty or damaged. 

  • We aim for our customers to be satisfied with their purchases. We may in some circumstances offer a return for exchange or store credit. Requests for exchange or credit should be made via our website within 7 days of purchase receipt. They must be accompanied by proof of purchase. The item needs to be returned in as-new condition along with all product packaging intact, labels and tags and must be unused, unworn and unaltered condition. The item is to be returned by a trackable service using the return address label we will provide you. Exchanges and credits will be issued within 5 business days of the items being received and found meeting   all the conditions outlined above. The cost of returning the item, as well as the cost of shipping any exchange item is the responsibility of the purchaser.

  • Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.

  • No change of mind returns are accepted on therapeutic, food and beverage items or beauty items such as creams.

  • Jigsaw Puzzles - these will only be considered faulty if the pieces are broken or snapped. Some lifting of the paper from the card can occur through handling, humidity etc and is not considered faulty. Should a piece be missing please contact us and we will provide you with manufacturer details so you can organise a replacement directly with them. Under no circumstances will we accept change of mind returns of puzzles where the plastic wrap or other seal is broken.
