Women’s Health Through a New Lens: Finding Balance with CEAM
At Sagire Clinic, we are passionate about women's health—and I'd love to share something close to my heart with you. Classical East Asian Medicine (CEAM) offers a unique perspective, and for many women, it has been the key to better health outcomes.
When women come to the clinic, I often hear the same words: "This is my last hope," "I’ve tried everything," or "I don’t know what else to do." Together, we start to unravel that journey, piece by piece, sorting through the confusion to create a clear picture of what’s really going on. And from there, we begin to move forward toward something better.
We work to place a light at the end of that tunnel—towards more energy, peaceful sleep, clearer thinking, and waking up refreshed without pushing yourself day after day.
Why does this feel like too much to ask?
Well, it’s not too much. It’s your right to expect and experience good health—not just temporarily, but long-term.
CEAM offers a completely different way of looking at your body and your symptoms. It connects the dots, recognising that everything is part of a bigger picture. Instead of trying yet another pill or treatment that only addresses one symptom, CEAM seeks to understand *why* these symptoms are happening together and *what* can be done to bring you lasting relief.
So, what’s different about CEAM?
It doesn’t treat your symptoms as separate, disconnected issues. CEAM looks at your body as a whole, and when we see that big picture, we can find a solution that not only helps you regain what you’ve lost but allows you to maintain great health for the future.
And that’s the goal—not just good health, but *great* health, fully attainable and sustainable.
So, where do we start?
For women’s health, the best starting point is often the period. Why? Because it is a key indicator of your body’s balance, offering clues about your overall hormonal health. In CEAM, a healthy period is one that is regular, with 3-5 days of bleeding, no clots, no pain, no mood swings, no headaches, and no breast tenderness.
For those who no longer have periods, we look back at your history as a signpost to understand what may be out of balance now.
In CEAM, balance is everything. If you're experiencing pain, discomfort, or distress, it’s a sign that your body isn’t in balance—and that’s where we begin.
I hope this gives you a glimpse into the CEAM approach to women's health and how it can make a difference. If this resonates with you or you have any questions, I’d love to hear from you. You can call the clinic, send an email, or book an appointment—either in person or via Telehealth.
Thank you for taking the time to read this!
Warmly,
Dr. Ian
